Coronado Heights Use Policy

  

CORONADO HEIGHTS USE POLICY

Coronado Heights Park is privately owned by Smoky Valley Historical Association,

it is available for lawful public use, subject to the following:

   

  • Public usage is permitted daily between dawn and  10 p.m.
  • Overnight camping is not allowed.
  • No motorized bikes or vehicles are allowed on trails or off  established road way.
  • No horses allowed in park.
  • Fires are only allowed in provided fireplaces.
  • Cleanup is the responsibility of those using the area, trash cans are provided.
  • Groups wishing to use the facility must have prior permission from the SVHA Board.
  • Certain groups may be required to furnish proof of liability insurance prior to use, at the discretion of the board.
  • No activities are allowed where an admission is charged.
  • Coronado Heights is patrolled periodically by the Saline County Sheriff's Dept.
  • Anyone responsible for vandalism will be prosecuted.
  • No memorials, plaques, or other permanent or semi-permanent items shall be placed, attached, or otherwise displayed on Coronado Heights without the express written consent of the SVHA. Unauthorized displays and materials will be removed.
